CLEARpath Recognized as a National Model

CLEARpath is a program of the Chicago Police Department which provides an interactive website offering the communities and residents access to police crime data and other resources that allow them to work on safety and security issues more successfully.  Millennia consultants facilitated the community planning process sponsored by LISC/Chicago that engaged three pilot neighborhoods in the development of the website.  Recently, the New York Times mentioned the CLEARpath portal as a national model.  Click to learn more about CLEARpath.  And click to read the NY Times article

DuPage Life-Skills Center is "Gateway to a New World"

The Illinois Life-Skills Center, operated by the People's Resource Center, was featured as a “gateway to a new world,” in an article in the Chicago Tribune, on December 20, 2009.  The DuPage County nonprofit has assisted more than 8,000 families since the middle of 2008, representing some 100 countries and nationalities.  The Tribune article says that as the demographics of DuPage County have shifted over recent years, “People's Resource Center has played an increasingly critical role in the lives of immigrants… political refugees and families looking to connect with loved ones in the U.S.”  Congratulations to People's Resource Center!  We’re proud to have played a small role in your success and this recognition is well deserved.  Click to learn more about People's Resource Center.
