Since its inception, Millennia has been committed to improving education. To this end, we have assisted faculty, administrators, parents, and community groups launch new and innovative educational programs, turn around challenging situations, and achieve whole-system change. Millennia works extensively with the Chicago Public Schools, as well as other school districts locally, statewide, and nationally. Our projects span pre-school, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education, and we provide a wide range of services, including planning, program development, evaluation, training, research, and fundraising.

Millennia’s projects with government have involved every aspect of our practice—large-scale visioning and planning, policy analysis, organizational development, strategy, training, project design, program evaluation—and every level of government: federal, state, local, and international.

Millennia’s health and human services clients are on the front lines, addressing key social issues and challenges facing communities.

In addition to working with clients in the Chicago-area and across the United States, Millennia provides services to a range of players involved in international development, including multilateral agencies, government ministries, state development banks, business associations, and community-based organizations.

Grantmakers and individual donors are increasingly interested in building partnerships with grantees—working together to develop projects and initiatives that support and build communities from the inside out. They seek to communicate their missions or funding intent clearly and outline the processes for receiving funds in unambiguous ways. Many are also increasingly interested in fully understanding the results generated by the projects they fund. Lessons learned and recommendations about how to do things better in the future are more and more important.
