Government

Millennia's projects with government have involved every aspect of our practice—large-scale visioning and planning, policy analysis, organizational development, strategy, training, project design, program evaluation—and every level of government, federal, state and local.

Our value to governmental clients resides in our ability to be flexible—conceptually, programmatically and time-wise. We can quickly design, test, and roll out new programs that might take months to do in-house. We can consult, convene and train various government constituent groups in an atmosphere of third-party informality. We can bridge gaps that are difficult for government administrators to bridge on their own—union/management, regulator/regulated, community activist/career civil servant.

On behalf of governmental clients, we have convened opposing constituent camps—real estate developers and environmentalists, for example—with highly productive results. Our participatory approaches to solving quality of work life and quality of service problems have won praise from top officials.
